Toyota Australia has confirmed pricing for the new bZ4X Touring, an electric wagon-style crossover SUV, ahead of delivery in May.
Price is $69,990 plus on-road costs 2026 Toyota bZ4X Touring will sit at the top of the updated bZ4X EV range in Australia, commanding a $2,000 premium over the standard bZ4X AWD.
Like its under-the-skin twin, the Subaru Trailseeker (available from $67,990 + ORCs), the bZ4X Touring features a more powerful dual-motor electric drivetrain than the bZ4X AWD, offering a system output of 280kW (up from 252kW).
As a result, the Touring accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, shortening the performance of its smaller colleague by 0.7 seconds.

As well as the extra power, the bZ4X Touring is 140mm longer than the regular bZ4X, which also results in a larger boot – the Touring offers a volume of 500L compared to 452L.
The larger EV retains the bZ4X’s 74.7 kWh lithium-ion battery, which in the Touring is said to offer a WLTP-certified range of 488 km. That’s slightly less than the bZ4X AWD’s 517 km.
Like the bZ4X, the bZ4X Touring offers DC charging of up to 150kW, with 22kW AC charging also fitted as standard.
Preliminary specifications for Australia largely mirror the bZ4X AWD, with the exception of unique 20-inch black alloy wheels, front and rear skid plates, ladder-style roof rails, black resin wheel arches and bonnet trim inserts, and a rear window wiper.
Other confirmed features include dual-zone climate control, eight-way power front seats with heating and ventilation, a digital rearview mirror, a fixed panoramic roof, two wireless smartphone chargers, a 1500W power inverter, a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a nine-speaker JBL premium sound system.
Toyota Australia has confirmed six metallic and pearl exterior paint options, including the “newly launched” metallic hero color Daylight Bronze. Premium paint costs $575.
The bZ4X Touring is available with black leatherette upholstery or a new Touring-exclusive Khaki colorway.
As with other bZ4X owners, the Toyota Go loyalty program offers private buyer members the choice of a free Chargefox public charger voucher – for 12 months or 625 kWh of charging, whichever comes first – or a free 7 kW home charger (without installation).
The bZ4X Touring is also covered by Toyota’s five-year, unlimited mileage new vehicle warranty, complemented by a ten-year, service-activated, unlimited mileage battery warranty and eight years, 100,000 miles of battery degradation coverage.
