The 2026 Zeekr new battery is said to have been “further optimized for faster charging, increased safety and improved thermal stability.”
This means the basic version can now be charged with a DC fast charger with a capacity of up to 230 kW (up from 150 kW), and the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in about 18 minutes, a reduction of about 12 minutes. The AWD’s nickel-manganese-cobalt lithium-ion battery (NMC) retains its 150 kW DC charging capacity.
AC charging has also been improved for both variants: the RWD can now take 11 kW (up from 7.2 kW) and the AWD doubles its previous upper limit to 22 kW (up from 11 kW).
The WLTP range for the MY26 Zeekr X RWD is 405 km, while the AWD claims 415 km. For reference: the versions before the update contained ADR figures (NEDC) of 540 and 470 km respectively.
