Recall of Lexus RC F and GS F

Two of them Lexus’ Hot performance models with V8 drive – the RC F coupe and larger GS F Sedan – are being recalled due to a manufacturing defect that may result in loss of performance.

“The affected vehicles are equipped with a fuel pump that may no longer function,” the company says in the recall notice.

“If this were to happen, the check engine and master warning indicators in the instrument cluster may illuminate, the engine may not start and/or the vehicle may stall.

“If the vehicle comes to a standstill while driving at higher speeds, this can increase the risk of a collision.”
