Go to Australia has issued a nationwide product safety recall for as many as nine of its models because the instrument cluster screens may remain blank or respond slowly.
“Due to a software error, the instrument cluster may display a blank screen or not function as intended,” Kia said in its recall notice.
“A blank or slow-response instrument cluster screen does not display important information such as speedometer or warning lights, increasing the risk of an accident resulting in injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.”
