Apple TV and Peacock Premium Plus just got cheaper together, and Amazon is the one making it happen

At this point, managing streaming subscriptions almost feels like fiddling with your bank account. Every few months the price increases or a new level appears. So if a deal actually makes sense, it’s worth paying attention to. Amazon is now bundling Apple TV and Peacock Premium Plus for $20 a month with Prime Video, saving $10 compared to subscribing to both individually.

What you get

The package brings together two services that have built some of the best content libraries in the streaming space. Apple TV brings originals like Shrinking and Pluribus, while Peacock covers everything from award-winning shows like The Traitors to content from NBC, Bravo and Universal Pictures. Both services are largely ad-free, with the exception of live sports, which advertisers in the sacred space will apparently never be without. Peacock’s Premium Plus tier also lets you download titles to watch offline and gives you access to local NBC channels, which is a really useful bonus depending on where you live.

Purchased separately, Apple TV costs $13 per month and Peacock Premium Plus costs $17 per month total $30. The bundle gets to the point $20saving you $10 every month. That means $120 per year back in your pocket, which is effectively another streaming service.

How to get it

To do this, you need an active Amazon Prime subscription and a billing address in the USA. Once you have that, go to the Subscription menu in Prime Video, and it should be waiting for you there. Amazon notes that this is only available for a limited time and is therefore not permanently on the menu.

So if you’re already subscribed to either service, this is a pretty easy decision. Paying less for two things you already paid for separately isn’t a complicated value proposition. If you’re still undecided about either platform, the combined price makes trying out both platforms much less painful. The content on both services is so strong that $20 a month is hard to afford, especially when the same amount barely covers a single premium tier on some other platforms.
