Apple just sent out media invitations for an event on March 4th. Interestingly, the events are taking place simultaneously in New York, Shanghai and London. As usual, the company hasn’t said anything about its upcoming products, but we may have an idea of what’s to come.
What’s coming?
“Macs are imminent,” said Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman
Interestingly, the colors on the invitation – yellow, green and yellow – suggest that something peppy is about to happen. Notably, the outlet reported over the weekend that Apple’s upcoming low-cost MacBook, which could be priced between $700 and $800, could come in a variety of fun colors.
A huge update cycle for Macs
This affordable laptop features a metal chassis, a display smaller than 13 inches, and an iPhone A-series processor instead of the M-series chips you find in the Air and Pro series MacBooks and iPads.
Another starting candidate could be the more powerful variants of the MacBook Pro with the M5 Pro and M5 Max processors. So far, Apple has only released one variant with the basic M5 processor. In addition to MacBooks, Apple also has new iPads planned for market launch in 2026, as well as a foldable iPhone and a revised MacBook Pro with an OLED screen and a fresh design language.
