The Toyota GR Yaris Morizo RR was shown at the Tokyo Auto Salon, with the special edition offering several performance and visual upgrades.
Toyota says the GR Yaris Morizo RR was developed based on lessons learned from the 2025 Nürburgring 24 Hours race in Germany and comes with an “exclusive suspension setup” for the hot hatch.
Additionally, the Morizo RR was equipped with a carbon fiber rear wing developed for the Nürburgring event, along with a carbon fiber hood, body kit and several exclusive additions such as a unique grille and paint accents.
Toyota chairman Akio Toyoda competed in the 24-hour endurance race in the GR Yaris under his alias “Morizo” and is said to have helped develop a Morizo mode button – replacing the Gravel mode on the GR Yaris – which adjusts the torque output to 50:50 from front to rear.
