Charges filed after Holden Rodeo committed pre-dawn crime spree across seven suburbs

Two men appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today after allegedly leaving a trail of destruction across the north of the Queensland capital in less than an hour.

In the early hours of Sunday, March 1, two men are alleged to have committed a series of crimes in a silver Holden Rodeo.

At 4.42am police received a report that a vehicle had stopped at the junction of Gympie Road and Hamilton Road in Chermside and a man was attempting to stop vehicles.

At 4:53 a.m., police received a report just south of Lutwyche Road in Windsor that a truck had struck two vehicles. A few minutes later they received another report that a truck had hit a vehicle on the same road in Lutwyche.

A truck traveling north to Kedron is reported to have struck a vehicle on Gympie Road at 5:03 a.m.

Police also claim to have received reports of stolen items from pedestrians at 5:10am in Brisbane City and at 5:15am in Chermside West.
