“With a tubular frame, full roll cage and many components sourced directly from off-road endurance racing specialists, the X Skorpio Concept explores another facet of the Genesis brand and underlines our intention to bring emotion and adrenaline to different segments.”
While the deep blue and black exterior features distinctive protective panels, Genesis says it has also focused on the aerodynamics of the body. The Skorpio rides on black 18-inch beadlock alloy wheels wrapped in 40-inch tires.
The package includes high-clearance guards and durable skid plates, as well as fine-tuned suspension and Brembo brakes.
Genesis says the exterior design reflects both the “bold and daring essence” and “resilience” of the black Scorpion, while the cabin blends off-road capability with luxury themes.
According to Genesis, the interior was “developed with a single focus: ensuring driver performance and passenger comfort during the physically demanding challenges of off-road adventures.”
These include laser-cut details, leather upholstery, matte and gloss finishes, as well as off-road features such as large grab handles, racing harnesses and “unlimited” adjustability of the sliding digital dashboard display.

The brand has also unveiled a ute concept, with Mr Donckerwolke suggesting an electric pickup truck could be part of Genesis’ future model range.
