YouTube will stream Coachella in 4K for the first time, and there’s also a shot-on-pixel feed

Can’t make it to Coachella? Luckily, YouTube is here for you, from your couch. Starting April 10 at 4:00 PM PDT, YouTube will livestream both weekends of Coachella 2026 for free, and this year’s setup is its most ambitious yet.

Seven stages will be streamed simultaneously, and the platform is also introducing a new vertical feed, shot entirely on Pixel phones, experiencing the festival in a different way.

How YouTube will improve your Coachella 2026 experience

The biggest upgrade is 4K streaming, available for the first time on three stages – Coachella’s Main Stage, Outdoor Theater and Sahara. If you have a big screen at home, this will look very good.

The Quasar stage will also receive a special vertical livestream, shot entirely on Google Pixel devices, showcasing the phone’s camera capabilities alongside the music.

For those who really can’t decide on a stage, the Multiview feature lets you stream up to four stages on your TV at the same time, switching between audio feeds. Last year, more than half of Coachella’s total livestream viewing time came from living rooms, so this feature makes a lot of sense.

A “Coachella TV” channel will run 24 hours a day throughout the festival, mixing archive performances with highlights from 2026 for an uninterrupted music experience.

What else you can do while streaming Coachella at home

The Watch With series returns for its second weekend, pairing popular YouTube creators with artists for live reaction and commentary. Valkyrae comes in for KATSEYE while Daniel Wall covers Fujii Kaze.

There is also a virtual merch store via YouTube Shopping with exclusive offers from artists such as BINI, Schwanzey, Ethel Cain, Foster the People, The xx and Turnstile. You can browse and purchase limited edition festival items by scanning the QR code on the screen to shop.

A dedicated Coachella live stream app for Android and iOS with Gemini-based scheduling completes the package. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or just looking for a free weekend of great music, this is the best festival experience at home.
