The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion combines a bright, curved display with military-grade durability

In addition to the new Razr Fold, Motorola presented a new mid-range smartphone at MWC 2026 (Mobile World Congress). The Edge 70 Fusion offers a number of compelling features for buyers who want a large screen, good battery life, and a sturdy build without a premium price tag.

What does it offer?

On the front, there’s a 6.78-inch quad-curved OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution and HDR10+ support. With a peak brightness of 5,200 nits, you can expect excellent readability even in direct sunlight. Durability was definitely a focus with this phone: it has an IP68 + IP69 rating for water and dust resistance, MIL-STD-810H certification for military-grade toughness, and Corning’s Gorilla Glass 7i for the display. Although it’s not as thin as the Edge 70, the overall look remains quite similar.

Under the hood, Motorola equips the Edge 70 Fusion with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC (Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 in India), paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. While certain regions get a huge 7,000mAh battery, regions like Europe get a smaller but respectable 5,200mAh battery that supports 68W wired fast charging. It also runs on the latest Android 16 operating system and promises three major updates and four years of security patches.

There’s a dual-camera setup on the back consisting of a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 main sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, while the front houses a 32MP selfie shooter. Other key specs include Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi 6, an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual SIM support and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos tuning.

Prices and availability

Motorola announced the Edge 70 Fusion in three color options: ANTONE Orient Blue, PANTONE Sporting Green and PANTONE Silhouette with uniquely textured back panels for a nylon and canvas finish. In Europe, this model starts at €429.99 (just over $500). It will be rolled out in other regions such as Latin America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
