T-Series has released Ram Ji Ki Nagariya, a new Ram Bhajan by Bollywood singer Sumeet Tappoo, to coincide with the auspicious festival of Ram Navami. The devotional offering has a deep personal meaning for Tappoo as he had harbored a desire to dedicate a song in honor of Bhagwan Ram ever since the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya was inaugurated.
Composed by Mayuresh Pai and written by Shekhar Astitwa, the bhajan is based on a strong musical and lyrical foundation. The arrangements designed by Rajesh Prasad give the composition its ceremonial warmth and reverent depth. The entire track’s instrumentation includes rhythm, guitar, mandolin, keyboard, flute, shehnai and violin, as well as a choral ensemble, giving the song a communal, prayerful quality. Tappoo’s vocals were recorded by Parth Dubey, recording and mixing was done at LM Studio in Mumbai and mastering was done by Gethin John at Mastering World in the UK.
Expressing his gratitude, Tappoo said, “My sincere thanks to T-Series and Sonu Srivastava Ji for giving me the honor of recording and presenting this offering on the holy occasion of Ram Navami. The auspicious festival reminds us of the eternal values and divine teachings of Bhagwan Ram, his righteousness, compassion, humility and unwavering commitment to Dharma.”
The release reflects a broader commitment to devotional music that has characterized Tappoo’s recent work under the T-Series banner, following his symphonic Hanuman Chalisa, the Hanuman Bhajan Hey Anjani Ke Lala and the Shiv Bhajan Bhole Baba alongside Kavita Krishnamurti.
A Bollywood singer known for his soulful, melodic approach and emotional sincerity, Tappoo has built a career that includes film-style songs, spiritual compositions and international concerts. He is also committed to humanitarian causes, particularly supporting free health initiatives in India and the South Pacific.
With Ram Ji Ki Nagariya, T-Series presents a devotional offering based on heartfelt bhakti, strong musicality and a voice that brings warmth and awe to one of India’s most popular Ram Navami festivals.
