Distributor Inchcape is recalling the new generation Peugeot 3008 And 5008 In crossover SUVs, a chassis defect could cause drivers to lose control of their vehicle.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, the ball joint bracket mounting bolts on the front lower control arm may break,” the company says in the recall notice.

“This can cause the wheel to change direction and loss of control of the vehicle.
“Loss of control of the vehicle increases the risk of an accident resulting in serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.”
The recall affects the 3008 Allure Hybrid, 3008 GT Hybrid, 5008 Allure Hybrid and 5008 GT Hybrid models, but also lists the electric 3008 GT, which was never officially introduced here.
- In total 310 vehicles are affected, produced between 2024 and 2025

If you own an affected vehicle, you must make an appointment with an authorized Peugeot dealer to have the work carried out free of charge.
