Good morning, people! This is a crazy week (as I mentioned last Thursday) and I wasn’t sure if I could even be there this week. But I just completely cleaned my studio and took a few new pictures of the entire finished studio, including the newly finished studio bathroom. That’s why I wanted to give you all a new “tour” of the studio including the bathroom. All of these new images focus on the bathroom – the view from the rest of the studio into the bathroom and the view from the bathroom to the rest of the room. I don’t really have many comments to add to these photos other than I really love sitting at my desk every morning and taking in the entire view of every colorful wall in this room. You all know how much I love colors. That’s why being surrounded by so much color and pattern is the perfect way to start my day. And now that the bathroom is finished and I can peek into this room from my desk, it’s like another treat for my color-loving eyes when I sit at my desk and look around the room.
This pretty much concludes my commentary on this entire area of our home. I’ll just let you scroll through the pictures and see for yourself.
I have something to say about this part of the room. As you can see, Matt’s Theracycle and my treadmill distort the view of this wall in my studio. I’m planning on clearing out one side of the sunroom so we can use this space as a temporary home gym. I’ll work on that later this year and then I can get these things out and reclaim the space in my studio. But until then I’ll just have to live with this rule.
It feels great to finally have my whole studio finished and a usable bathroom again! Of all the rooms in our house, my studio (including the bathroom) is the “me” because I could do whatever I wanted in this area without having to worry about whether Matt would like it or not. So if you want to know what our whole house would look like if I were married to Matt, my studio is a pretty good clue. Maybe it’s a good thing that I’m married to Matt, so I’m forced to moderate the rest of the house a bit.

Okay, back to my crazy week. I probably won’t be here tomorrow, and there’s a 50/50 chance I won’t be here on Friday either. As soon as we get through this week, life here will return to normal. But if I’m not here for the rest of the week, we just know we’ll be okay. Matt is in good health and has been doing very well lately. So if I’m not here, there’s no need to worry about him (or me).
