Season 1 hasn’t even aired yet, and Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord already coming back to find out more. Chief Creative Officer Dave Filoni has announced that season two is officially in the works at Lucasfilm Animation.

what is Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord around?
If you are new to this area, you can find the quick version here. One of Star Wars’ most iconic villains, Maul was famously cut in half by Obi-Wan Kenobi in The Phantom Menace and later resurrected for Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
This 10-episode animated series picks up after the Clone Wars as Maul attempts to rebuild his crime syndicate on a planet the Empire has yet to touch. Along the way, he meets a disillusioned young Jedi padawan who could become the apprentice he needs.
With Season 2 already wrapping up before the Season 1 premiere, Maul’s story is clearly just beginning.
The stellar cast includes Golden Globe winner and Oscar nominee Wagner Moura as Brander Lawson, Richard Ayoade as Two-Boots, Dennis Haysbert as Master Eeko-Dio Daki, Gideon Adlon as Devon Izara and several others.
