Samsung just unveiled a trio of new Galaxy Book6 series laptops at CES, offered in 14-inch and 16-inch variants. The company says these are also its longest-lasting Galaxy Book devices yet, reaching up to 30 hours on a single charge.
A new chapter
The Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Galaxy Book6 Pro and Galaxy Book6 will be up for grabs later this month. One of the biggest advantages is the slim design, which combines symmetrical looks with a two-tone keyboard and a haptic touch trackpad. Of the three models, the thickness of the Galaxy Book6 Pro is only 11.6 millimeters.
On the Pro and Ultra models, you get a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that reaches a peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits and also has an anti-reflective layer. Brightness output can go down to 0.0005 nits to achieve true blacks, while refresh rate can go up to 120Hz, which matches the latest MacBook Pro.
In addition to a fresh all-metal look, Samsung has also equipped these devices with an updated vapor chamber and airflow system for improved thermals thanks to redesigned fans and vents. At the heart of these PCs is the latest silicon from Intel and Nvidia.

These are among the first laptops to feature Intel’s Core Ultra 3 processors in Panther Lake, manufactured on the 18A process node. On the graphics side, buyers can rely on Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5070 GPU on the Ultra model and Intel’s Arc on the Pro and base models.
Samsung is also bringing a whole host of AI features into the mix under the Galaxy AI banner. These include AI Select, a universal search system, Note Assist and Multi-Control for cross-device input sharing, similar to Apple’s ecosystem.
