Dreame Technology, a Chinese brand best known for home cleaning solutions such as cordless vacuum cleaners and robot cleaners, has announced (not launched) an all-electric hypercar with a claimed 1,000 horsepower.
While the brand released a few teasers in early December, it officially announced its first-ever car ahead of CES 2026. It’s worth noting that Dreame has revealed only a few images of the hypercar, which doesn’t have a name for now.
Dreame’s unexpected leap into high-performance electric vehicles
The four-door coupe resembles the Bugatti Brouillard (not the Chiron) with its flat design and overall silhouette. At the front, the car features four horizontal DRL strips, large air intakes and wide fenders that enhance its road presence.
In particular, the vehicle’s side profile is exactly like the mainstream hypercars you see on the market: it’s sleek, bold, yet familiar. The A-pillar is barely visible and blends into the roofline with the windshield. There may also be borderless windows.
Aside from the color shown in the teaser, it’s the alloys that appeal to me the most, with their unique six-spoke pattern reminiscent of the petals of a flower. In addition to these details, a report suggests that the hypercar will feature a 1,000 horsepower powertrain that could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in around 1.8 seconds.
For reference: The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra also accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in around 1.98 seconds, making it one of the fastest series electric vehicles in the world. The fastest Tesla, Model S Plaid, does 0 to 60 mph in about 2.0 to 2.1 seconds. However, that’s the extent of the information we know about the Dreame hypercar.
From making devices that keep your homes clean to making an all-electric car that keeps the environment clean, Dreame has come a long way. It’s quite a surprise, but Dreame is part of an ecosystem of brands that routinely foray into the automotive sector, with Xiaomi being the main example.
A 1,000-horsepower EV hypercar puts the company in the same conversation as established automakers like BYD and shows that benchmarks once reserved for legacy automakers are now within reach of newcomers. Dreame is expected to reveal more details about its hypercar concept at CES 2026.
