PlayStation Plus subscribers are getting a big gift in December. Sony has confirmed that it will be adding to the games catalog Assassin’s Creed Mirage And Where Long Fallen Dynasty this month, offering players two major action experiences in completely different styles. It’s one of the biggest month-end declines PS Plus has seen in some time and a solid way to end 2025.
New titles on PS Plus this December
This month’s PS Plus deal features two big adventures and a number of smaller surprises to round out your library during the holidays.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage brings the franchise back to its stealth roots with a smaller, story-driven adventure set in 9th century Baghdad. The game follows Basim on his journey from street thief to master assassin as he joins the hidden and learns the art of silent infiltration. The game borrows heavily from classic Assassin’s Creed elements such as parkour, social stealth, quick assassinations, and a dense city designed for rooftop escapes. It’s shorter and slimmer than recent entries, making it ideal for players looking for an exciting, fast-paced adventure they can play through without sinking into it for weeks.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty offers a completely different type of action. It is a fast-paced, punishing and combat-heavy game inspired by Chinese martial arts and mythologies. Fighting in this game is all about timing, parrying and mastering quick attacks, which makes it particularly attractive to players who like titles like Nioh or Sekiro. Because Mirage and Wo Long are major third-party releases, their release on PS Plus will give subscribers access to premium experiences they may have missed at launch.
Sony is also adding several more games to its gaming catalog, giving players a mix of indie, action and family-friendly options to explore. These include titles like Skate Story, Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Planet Coaster 2, Cat Quest 3, Lego Horizon Adventures, Paw Patrol: Grand Prix, And Paw Patrol World. All of them will be available to play from December 16th, with the exception of Skate Story, which will be released on December 8th.
