LG Electronics unveils cutting-edge HVAC innovations at Mega Clima 2025 with a focus on sustainability and smart technology
LG Electronics will unveil its latest breakthroughs in heating, ventilation and air conditioning at Mega Clima 2025, West Africa’s premier international HVAC exhibition at the Landmark Center in Lagos. The company’s exhibition underlines its clear commitment to energy efficiency, environmental stewardship and creating healthier indoor spaces – key priorities as Africa’s built environment continues to evolve.
LG’s booth will feature a comprehensive range of advanced HVAC systems tailored for both residential and commercial applications. The exhibition will focus on smart heat pumps designed to reduce carbon footprints and AI-powered industrial coolers, highlighting LG’s commitment to innovation and user convenience.
At the top of the lineup is the Multi V Series, LG’s flagship variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system. Designed for flexibility and high performance efficiency, the Multi V is ideal for a variety of building types – from high-rise buildings and office towers to hotels and shopping centers. Its sophisticated inverter technology and intelligent load management enable it to respond dynamically to changing usage patterns and environmental conditions, enabling precise climate control while optimizing energy consumption. The modular design and extensive piping options make the system particularly suitable for large projects that require zoning versatility and aesthetic integration.
In response to growing concerns about indoor air quality, LG is also introducing a range of industrial ventilation solutions. The Industrial Multi Advanced Ducted Systems provide robust airflow with quiet operation and customizable duct configurations, supporting multi-zone environments in both new construction and retrofit projects. In addition, LG’s Energy Recovery Ventilation (ERV) units improve energy efficiency by recovering heat from exhaust air to pre-condition incoming fresh air. This reduces the load on heating and cooling equipment while ensuring a constant supply of clean, filtered air. For large spaces such as hospitals, shopping malls and industrial complexes, LG ventilation units seamlessly integrate with Multi V systems to provide tailored solutions for air circulation, temperature regulation and humidity control.
“Mega Clima 2025 provides us with a platform to reaffirm LG’s leadership in providing smarter, greener and healthier building solutions across Africa,” said Joonkyu Song, General Manager of Eco Solutions, LG Electronics West Africa. “Our participation goes beyond showcasing products – it reflects our continued investment in the region and our belief that every space deserves smart, sustainable air systems.”
In addition to product innovations, LG promotes the LG Academy, a dedicated training and education initiative aimed at empowering HVAC professionals across Africa. This platform offers hands-on technical training, certification programs and access to global best practices, helping to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and skilled expertise.
