For 2026 that is Lexus RX has received more standard equipment, optimized controls and a new entry-level plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variant, with negligible price increases across the board.
The new RX450h+ Luxury costs $105,350 before on-road costs, which is $18,300 less than the Sports Luxury – so far the only plug-in hybrid RX on offer here.
It costs $8,150 more than the RX350h Luxury AWD, but has additional standard features such as adaptive suspension, leather upholstery, panoramic sunroof, head-up display, and ventilated front seats.
Lexus Australia has also confirmed that RX vehicles produced from September 2025 will feature “improved operation” of the haptic steering wheel controls and climate control system.

Hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants feature a “Vehicle Approach Notice,” Lexus-speak for an Audible Vehicle Alert System (AVAS) that emits a sound at low speeds to warn pedestrians.
A wireless phone charger is now standard in all models. Previously, it was standard on all trim levels except the Luxury model, where it was part of the Enhancement Pack 1.
A slight price increase has been applied to all variants, with the maximum price being $265 for the base front-wheel-drive RX350h Luxury.
“These updates, along with the addition of the RX450h+ luxury grade, demonstrate Lexus’ commitment to delivering sophisticated innovation and expanding luxury choice for customers,” a Lexus Australia spokesperson said.
