Porsche Sonderwunsch celebrates the natural beauty of the Amazon with a new GT3.
Porsche’s special request is the pinnacle of individual, bespoke Porsche excellence, going even beyond the stunning color spectrum of the Porsche Paint to Sample program and offering the historic manufacturer’s most discerning customers the opportunity to create completely unique, one-off Porsche masterpieces. In addition to creating unique vehicles for very special customers, Sonderwunsch also commissions projects that celebrate milestones or look back on history.
The latest of these projects is Icons of Latin America, a Sonderwunsch project that debuted with the unveiling of the new Porsche 911 GT3 “Ocelot.” With a design inspired by the breathtaking biodiversity and natural beauty of the Amazon rainforest in Colombia, the bespoke Porsche 911 GT3 is named after one of the most fascinating animals that live in the rainforest: the ocelot.
Porsche Latin America, headquartered in Miami, is celebrating 25 years of supporting Porsche importers and the rich, passionate community of Porsche enthusiasts across Latin America. To celebrate this milestone, the new special request project “Icons of Latin America” was launched. Each car in the project, curated by Sonderwunsch experts, draws inspiration from the rich nature and culture of Latin America, and the 911 GT3 “Ocelot,” based on the 911 GT3 Touring, is the first.
The exterior color is fittingly a forest green metallic paint with centenaire silver accents. Inside, Cohiba Brown leather upholstery is combined with Pepita houndstooth fabric, completing a historically inspired look that honors the rich heritage of some of the first Porsche 911s. Embossed ocelot silhouettes on the headrests are reminiscent of the special edition and complete the special configuration for the bespoke special request masterpiece. Kicking off a series of stunning custom Porsches inspired by the beauty of Latin America, the Porsche Icons of Latin America series begins with the 911 GT3 “Ocelot.”
