Lynk & Co celebrated its 10th anniversary by ripping off the covers GT concepta flat electric coupe that promises great performance.
While no exact details about the GT Concept have been revealed, Lynk & Co claims that the vehicle can handle the 0-100 km/h sprint in the “two-second range” and has a front/rear weight distribution of 49:51.
Measuring 4780mm long, 2000mm wide and 1330mm high, the GT Concept is about the same length and width as a Lamborghini Aventador, but about 20mm taller than a Toyota GR86.

Aerodynamics is an important part of vehicle design. A rear diffuser and air ducts ensure “downforce close to the track”.
When additional downforce is required, a yellow front splitter can be lowered by 100mm at the touch of a button under the center armrest, which also extends the active rear spoiler and lowers the suspension by 15mm.
Inside, the four-seat coupe features a “racing” steering wheel, deep bucket seats and a specially developed carbon fiber material – combined with hand-inlaid natural mica – that is evident throughout the interior.
The GT Concept is also equipped with an adaptive chassis and an “AI Digital Chassis”.
“By embedding the fundamental logic of track driving directly into its code, the system coordinates power, braking and steering across all four wheels with millisecond precision, allowing the vehicle to intuitively understand the driver’s intent and deliver the ultimate “human-machine unified experience” in the digital age,” the company says.
The Chinese brand was expected to launch in Australia as early as 2020, but the company – owned by Geely, which also owns Volvo, Polestar, Smart (with Mercedes-Benz) and Lotus – now says Lynk & Co will make its local debut in the coming years.
The GT Concept could mark a turning point, with the company confirming that performance will be a deciding factor for Lynk & Co models going forward.
“Going forward, Lynk & Co will remain true to its core commitment to ‘performance’ and bring advanced technologies – honed and perfected on the race track – back into everyday driving,” it says.
