ElevenLabs has spent years perfecting the art of AI-generated voices, and now the company has parlayed its experience into a new iOS app that generates original songs from text prompts. It wasn’t that long ago that everyone learned how to create images by writing descriptive and detailed text prompts, and yet here we are.
ElevenLabs catches up with Google’s Lyria 3 Pro
While ElevenLabs’ entry into the AI ​​music generation market could be a coincidence, the timing is certainly not a coincidence. Most recently, Google added music generation (30-second tracks) to Gemini with Lyria 3, followed by the launch of Lyria 3 Pro on March 25, 2026, which can generate up to 180-second tracks with much better creative control.
It looks like the two companies are fighting to secure leadership in the AI ​​music space. Anyway, back to ElevenMusic: It lands on the App Store as a direct competitor to established AI music platforms. The app allows you to generate up to seven free songs in a day.
Using lyrics prompts, you can set the mood (happy, sad, romantic, etc.), length, lyric content, and writing style of the song. If you need inspiration, you can also listen to tracks created by other users and, more importantly, remix them (within the same daily data limit).

The ElevenMusic app also includes curated live stations, mood-based playlists (including Focus, Chill, Cosmic, and Late Night), and familiar chart-style sections that seem to be lifted straight from Spotify’s playbook.

The Pro subscription offers up to 500 songs per month, as well as 500GB of storage and access to all available styles and modes in the app.
Compared to established US AI music platforms like Suno and Udio, ElevenMusic’s advantage lies in its roots in voice AI.
