The Toyota Corolla Cross The small SUV received an update for 2026 that brought a modest price increase but various technical changes and a more distinctive GR Sport variant.
The entire updated 2026 Corolla Cross lineup hit showrooms before the end of 2025, with price increases totaling $950. The price range now starts at $37,440 before on-road costs for the base front-wheel-drive GX.
While prices are rising, there is more standard equipment than before.

All variants received HF01234YF refrigerant for their air conditioning systems and an Audible Vehicle Alert System (AVAS) to alert passers-by to the hybrid SUV’s presence.
The front and rear parking assist brake feature, which brakes when an object or vehicle is detected, previously only available on the Atmos, has been introduced to the GX and GXL.
The GXL was the biggest beneficiary of the update, also gaining rain-sensing wipers, a surround-view camera, a cell phone charger and heated front seats.
The Atmos features ventilated front seats and also continues to offer a power liftgate and heated steering wheel as standard.
None of these three features are offered by the new all-wheel drive GR Sport, which costs $50,990 (before on-road costs) – identical to the Atmos AWD – but it compensates with unique suspension and steering tuning and a sportier look inside and out, including unique 19-inch alloy wheels.
All Corolla Cross variants also received refreshed exterior styling for 2026, including a new grille design.
The small crossover SUV was launched here in 2022 but first went into production in 2020. It sits between the Yaris Cross and RAV4 in Toyota Australia’s lineup, along with the more distinctive C-HR. All four of these SUVs, as well as the larger Kluger, are offered exclusively with hybrid power in Australia.
