The 2026 Ineos Grenadier The 4×4 off-roader has been updated with an expanded product range including a new one Black editionas well as steering and cabin optimizations across the entire series.
All Grenadiers receive a new variable-ratio steering box, which the automaker says provides improved precision and responsiveness.
The update is also said to result in a five percent smaller turning circle, with revised locking stops designed to improve slow-speed maneuverability both off-road and in the city.
Priced at $2,000 more than the Fieldmaster model grade on which it is based, the new Grenadier Black Edition starts at $122,000 before on-road costs in Estate or Double Cab body styles; It is not available as a cab chassis.

The special edition is offered exclusively in “Inky Black” exterior color with a unique “Dark Exterior Pack” that includes a black front grille and black skid plates.
It also gets unique badging and gloss black 18-inch alloy wheels – an inch larger than those on the Fieldmaster – and is fitted with BFGoodrich all-terrain tires, while the interior gets a dark headliner and carpet to complete the look.
Orders for the Black Edition are now possible. A statement from Ineos Automotive Australia and New Zealand on the Black Edition said: “Although there is no volume limit, there will be a limited production window.”
For 2026, the Grenadier’s climate control system has also received unspecified improvements “to improve the predictability of heating and cooling in the cabin.”
Ineos has also expanded its range of accessories, including shorter roof racks for vehicles with safari windows.
Otherwise, the off-roader range for 2026 remains unchanged. All models will continue to be offered with a choice of BMW’s 3.0-liter inline-six turbodiesel or turbo gasoline engines, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
Prices remain unchanged, starting at $105,000 before on-road costs for the entry-level Quartermaster cab chassis, $107,000 for the estate and Quartermaster ute, and $120,000 for the Fieldmaster and Trialmaster grades, after discounts of almost $20,000 were offered in 2025.
Ineos also discontinued its agency distribution model in Australia in October last year, which it had used since launching the brand – and the Grenadier – locally in May 2022.
