Located on Wine Route 290 in the Texas Hill Country, this cozy glamping spot offers a true moment of tranquility. If you’ve never stayed in a yurt before, you might not realize how luxurious it is! We’re talking air conditioning, heating, hardwood floors – it’s like staying in a cabin, but much more unique. Each of the eight yurts features two queen beds, a full bathroom and kitchenette, as well as shared fire pits and on-site cedar barrel soaking tubs!
We planned our stay for one night as we attended an event at the nearby Ron Yates Winery. Other nearby wineries include: William Chris Vineyards, Carter Creek Winery, Siboney Cellars and more.
There are also a few great places in downtown Johnson City worth checking out. Start your day with a cup of coffee and a breakfast taco at Johnson City Coffee Company. Or end the day with a nightcap at Nice and Easy, where you can also enjoy a hot dog or Frito pie.
