Austin women have a unique opportunity to be part of a live television audience and help shed light on an important issue. The new one-hour television special focuses on menopause, perimenopause and the health of midlife women.

The break is created and executive produced by Coffee Milk Media founder Keocha LaFleur-Anders. The special was designed to provide space for honest conversations about a period of life that affects millions of women but is often overlooked in mainstream media.

Featuring expert guests, audience participation and open conversations, the evening is designed to help women feel informed, supported and less alone in their experiences.

Featured experts include:

  • Dr. Susan Hardwick SmithBoard-certified gynecologist and certified menopause therapist
  • Gabriella EspinosaMenopause and sexual wellness educator and host of Pleasure in the Pause

According to organizers, an estimated 6,000 women enter menopause every day in the United States. Discussion about menopause remains limited, even though women spend about a third of their lives postmenopause. Whether you are currently going through perimenopause or menopause, supporting a loved one, or just interested in learning more, The break is designed to provide practical information, expert guidance and community connections through a multicultural and intergenerational perspective.
