Javvy Coffee was founded in 2020 with a clear goal: to make energy simpler, cleaner and more user-friendly. In a market full of sugary drinks, stimulant-rich powders and complicated routines, they saw a better way.
The company introduced a straightforward product—protein coffee with just enough caffeine and no added sugar—that could be used anywhere, anytime.
From the beginning, Javvy positioned itself not as a trendy wellness brand but as a routine builder. The team listened carefully to everyday consumers, from cold dipping enthusiasts and personal trainers to students, teachers and shift workers. What they learned shaped every decision – wording, format and even the growth of the brand.
Javvy Coffee offers products that fit seamlessly into busy lives. The powder format and shelf-stable design make it ideal for people who don’t have time for meal prep or the drive-thru. It has become a staple in car cup holders, gym bags, office drawers, and even post-workout routines.
The company continues to grow by focusing on what works. Not by following viral trends, but by staying close to the people who use your product every day. In a crowded market, Javvy has built its leadership not by shouting but by showing up – quietly changing the way we think about energy and routine.

Q&A with Javvy Coffee about energy, routines and focus
How did the idea for Javvy Coffee come about?
It started when I noticed people consuming caffeine. So many either skipped breakfast or combined sugary coffee with nothing else. This led to accidents, fatigue and frustration. We thought: What if there was something simpler? Something with caffeine and fuel that actually fits into a hectic everyday life?
What did the first version of the product look like?
First came the original coffee concentrate. It was clean and flexible, but we kept hearing people say they wanted something that worked out of the box. So we worked on a long-life protein coffee with 80 mg of caffeine and 10 g of protein. It’s lightweight, easy to transport, and designed for real routines – not ideal ones.
How important was customer feedback in shaping your direction?
It’s everything. A runner in Denver told us that he drank a large shake before running but felt too heavy. Our product allows them to get out the door faster without bloating. One Cold Punge user in Austin said he drank it right after getting out of the tub to warm up, without any espresso shakes. These weren’t borderline cases – they became the map.
How do you define success now?
It’s when we see our product show up in someone’s real-world routine. Store it in your gym bag, in the car or in your backpack between classes. If someone grabs it without thinking, we have done our job.
What has changed in the way people interact with caffeine?
People are more determined. They want balance, not just a boost. Many people avoid stimulating pre-workouts and sugary drinks. You want energy that supports concentration, movement and recovery – not something that spikes and crashes.
How do you think Javvy Coffee fits into this change?
We don’t ask people to redesign their lives. We’re just helping them build a better decision into the routine they already have. We like to say: We are not loud, but we are consistent.
What advice would you give to other founders in the functional beverage space?
Don’t follow trends. Build on real habits. Watch how people actually use your product – not how they say they want to use it. There is gold in the quiet details.
What routine do you personally stick to and stay grounded?
Cold plunge, Javvy and 30 minutes of deep work. That sets the tone for everything else. It’s nothing special, but it’s effective.
What’s next for the brand?
We still focus on learning and listening. We don’t want to just grow like that. Every decision must depend on how people use us and what helps them get through the day better.
