Images of a revised version of the Honda Jazz were released online ahead of the model’s launch in China.
The Honda hatchback, dubbed the Fit there, is said to be limited to just 3,000 units, with small petrol-powered cars being a relatively unpopular segment among Chinese new car buyers.
As reported by the Japanese website creative trend, Leaked images of the model – made by a joint venture between Honda and GAC – were originally published on the website Autohome.
Visual changes include the (increasingly common) split-level lighting, which replaces the previous model’s large headlight clusters. The radiator grille remains slim, but is now positioned higher.
At the rear, the changes are much smaller and are limited to a slightly revised bumper. Inside, the only major change is a larger 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen instead of a 9.0-inch unit.
It’s unclear whether these visual changes will also be applied to the Japanese-built Fit/Jazz.

The Fit is understood to be offered as a single variant and will be powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine producing 91kW of power and 145Nm of torque, driving the front wheels via a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
The vehicle is reportedly priced at 63,800 yen in China – or about A$13,700.
Honda discontinued the Jazz in Australia at the end of 2020, after which the company ruled out any plans to reintroduce the model to its range.
“I’ll be clear: Jazz is not in our plans,” said former Honda Australia boss Carolyn McMahon Daily Sparkz in 2023.
“But that doesn’t mean that we’ll continue to look at what the market is doing and what vehicles are available to us.
“We continue to look for opportunities. But that’s not in the plan for us.”
Although there is nothing new about a return of the Jazz, Honda has confirmed that the Super One electric city car will be brought to Australia in the second half of 2026.
