The 2026 Audi Q3 SUV and Sportback Prices will start at $61,600 before on-road costs as the new generation arrives in Australian showrooms with more technology and a wider product range.
The new Q3 SUV and Sportback, due in Australia in the second quarter (April-June) of 2026, represent the third generation of Audi’s small SUV and bring an all-new body to the MQB-Evo platform used across the Volkswagen Group.
Audi Australia has confirmed key details and pricing, but is yet to announce full trim specifications for the local offering.
As well as a more aggressive exterior inspired by the latest Q5 SUV, the new Q3 offers new engines, updated interior technology and higher levels of equipment for Australian buyers, albeit with price increases compared to the previous model.

Priced from $61,600 before on-road costs for the Q3 SUV TFSI 110kW, the 2026 Q3 starts $2,900 more expensive than its predecessor, while the Sportback, priced from $64,600, starts at a premium of $3,600.
In addition to the regular Q3 SUV, the Sportback body style also features a more aggressive roofline and sits 29mm lower, with the slimmer exterior reducing boot volume from 1386 liters in the SUV to 1289 liters in the Sportback. Depending on the variant, Sportbacks cost $2,000 to $3,000 more.
Across the range, the new Q3 showcases Audi’s latest MMI (Multimedia Interface), with a curved assembly incorporating an 11.9-inch digital instrument display and a 12.8-inch central touchscreen.
Also standard is a 360-degree camera system, with Audi promising a “full package” of driver assistance and safety technologies, including a new reversing assistant and “trained parking” that can remember parking maneuvers.
Engines start with a new 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol mild hybrid producing 110kW of power and 250Nm of torque, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and driving the front wheels.
Audi promises improved fuel efficiency over the 1.4-litre engine that the new entry-level powertrain replaces, claiming combined fuel consumption of 6.9L/100km in the base version.
The standard equipment of the base Q3 includes:
- Adaptive LED headlights with three selectable daytime running light signatures
- Acoustic front side glass
- Illuminated rear Audi rings
- Keyless entry
- Electric tailgate
- Electrically adjustable front seats
- Leather upholstery
- Wireless smartphone charging (including cooling function to prevent the devices from overheating)
- 260 watt sound system with 10 speakers and subwoofer
- Colored ambient lighting
- Inner inserts made of cross-brushed aluminum
Sportback variants feature an S-Line exterior package and unique 19-inch alloy wheels, but forego roof rails.
The Launch Edition variants, offered on both 110kW and 150kW Q3 SUV and Sportback models for an additional cost of $5,400, feature metallic paint, 19-inch sport alloy wheels with red brake calipers, a black exterior design package, adaptive dampers and a sound actuator.
You can upgrade to a more powerful 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine making 150kW and 320Nm (up from 132kW), mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and all-wheel drive. Audi claims a 0-100 km/h time of 7.1 seconds.
An S Line exterior package is standard on the 150kW models, along with 19-inch alloy wheels, sport front seats with integrated headrests and hill descent control.
The Launch Edition versions of the 150 kW Q3 and Sportback SUVs receive the same upgrades as the 110 kW Launch Edition and also attract an additional charge of $5,400.
At the top of the range, the flagship Q3 variants produce 195kW and 400Nm with a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive.
The increase in power – from 132kW/320Nm previously – offers performance-focused buyers some breathing room ahead of an expected but not officially confirmed RSQ3 flagship.
Audi Australia claims the more powerful engine enables a 0-100km/h sprint in 5.7 seconds. Standard equipment includes 20-inch alloy wheels, red brake calipers, privacy glass, a panoramic sunroof and adaptive dampers.
