BMW’s figures are available for 2025.
As 2025 comes to a close, luxury automakers across the industry are counting the number of vehicles delivered to prepare for the future of their company and the automotive world as a whole, and of course one of them is BMW. Last year, BMW of North America sold a total of 388,897 vehicles in the United States, an increase of nearly 5 percent compared to 2024.
The figure represents a new sales record for the brand’s U.S. sales and marks the third consecutive year of record results. Sales of the MINI brand also increased over the course of the year. BMW North America BEV sales declined in 2025, reflecting changing demand for them, particularly in the fourth quarter of the year. However, sales of electrified plug-in hybrid models rose by an impressive 30.7 percent over the course of the year.
While the changes in 2025 mean that brands like BMW may adjust course in the near future, BMW North America has enjoyed incredible success over the past year with a product lineup that combines performance-oriented engineering, luxury features, celebrated craftsmanship and iconic design.
