Desert Power Wagons proudly presents its newest handcrafted legend: a Reissue of the 1946 Crew Cab Power Wagon in striking Electric Green Metallic. Completed in October 2025 after countless hours of expert craftsmanship, this machine represents a fearless intersection of American heritage and modern performance. Equal parts showpiece and workhorse, it is designed to turn heads on city streets and dominate back-of-the-way trails with effortless aplomb.

Built on a Tisdale Coachworks crew cab chassis with rear suicide doors, this redesigned Power Wagon maintains the silhouette of an icon while combining 21st century materials and precision engineering. The Electric Green Metallic exterior evokes the flash of a thunderstorm over desert sand, contrasted by glossy black fenders and running boards. A hand-laid bed base crafted from Biltmore White Ash hardwood with polished stainless steel slats anchors the design in the golden age of craftsmanship. Every line, seam and closure was sculpted with a single purpose: to combine beauty and power into one unstoppable form.
At its heart is an upgraded 5.9-liter high-output 24-valve Cummins Stage 1 turbodiesel that produces over 400 horsepower and more than 900 lb-ft of torque. The build includes a Fleece Performance Cheetah turbo, a Banks high-flow billet intake plate, 30 percent over fuel injectors and billet control components that convert raw diesel power into refined, usable performance.
Power is transmitted via a heavy-duty TorqueFlite 48RE four-speed automatic transmission from Randy’s Transmissions and a heavy-duty NV271 transfer case with a manual shift. Eight-piston SSBC big brakes provide reliable stopping power when the road ends and the asphalt begins.

Beneath its vintage exterior lies Desert Power Wagons’ engineered, fully boxed steel chassis, designed for strength, stability and relentless adventure. A custom four-link suspension system features Fox Racing 2.5 Performance Race Series coilovers with remote reservoirs, Eibach racing springs and a Rancho steering damper for exceptional control. Mevotech steering arms, an adjustable Rough Country forged tie rod, and a front-mounted WARN 12,000-pound winch further enhance off-road capability.

Inside, industrial strength gives way to modern luxury. The interior is covered in Tan Bark distressed leather on the seats, door panels, center console and dashboard. Above the roof, a Vastfire Twinkle and Meteor fiber optic starlight headliner transforms the interior into a rolling night sky.
A premium infotainment system from Atoto, Rockford Fosgate and Kenwood with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is paired with a 360-degree camera suite. Climate control is handled by Vintage Air Gen V, while a Viper security system with remote start ensures peace of mind. Power windows, power locks and subtle LED ambient lighting round out the interior, which serves as both a sanctuary and a command center.
