Porsche recaps reveals, race wins and more for 2025

Porsche is looking back on an incredible year as 2026 approaches.

Porsche is one of the world’s most popular automobile manufacturers, with a lineup full of luxury performance gems as well as motorsports endeavors, a rich history and a lifestyle empire that have made the brand a household name for more than 75 years. However, 2025 was a particularly transformative year for Porsche, as the brand’s racing teams enjoyed incredible success and Porsche’s road range underwent a transformation to include some of the most innovative cars to bear the iconic crest to date. As 2025 draws to a close, Porsche has rounded up some of the best highlights of this exciting year.

In January, Porsche secured its 20th victory at the legendary Rolex Daytona 24 Hours while also unveiling the latest generation of the 911 Carrera S. In March, the brand announced updates to its Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system and introduced state-of-the-art infotainment technology for models such as the 911, Cayenne, Taycan and Panamera, including Dolby Atmos, Amazon Alexa integration and an improved Porsche Connect package.

April marked two significant milestones for Porsche: the 75th anniversary of production in Zuffenhausen and the launch of the limited-edition Porsche 911 Spirit 70, a boldly designed and exclusive homage to the distinctive design of the Porsche 911 in the 1970s and 1980s. June saw the unveiling of the road-legal Porsche 963 RSP, a one-off model inspired by a legendary Porsche 917 from earlier Porsche racing history, as well as a second place overall and a class win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

In July, the Porsche Cayenne Electric prototype demonstrated its performance at Goodwood, and in September a new generation of the Porsche 911 Turbo S was launched, which was the most powerful production Porsche 911 to date thanks to T-Hybrid technology. In October, Porsche introduced the new Macan GTS Electric and defended all of its titles in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

Finally, in November, the Porsche Cayenne Electric was unveiled as the most powerful production Porsche of all time, and a new Manthey Performance Kit for the Porsche 911 GT3 further improved the race-ready 911’s track performance. This month the Porsche 911 GT3 90 FA Porsche was created to celebrate the legendary designer’s 90th birthday with an incredible limited edition custom masterpiece. With tailored craftsmanship, state-of-the-art technology, motorsport victories and high performance, Porsche celebrated a year full of success.
