Rimac’s Nevera R Founder’s Edition offers ten collectors a unique, practical hypercar experience with record-breaking EV performance.
Rimac Automobili started in a small garage in Croatia, but today the company is making waves as one of the most interesting names in the automotive world. Mate Rimac and his team have a talent for turning seemingly impossible ideas into record-breaking creations. The Nevera R is the latest example that pushes the boundaries of performance, technology and design. And for ten collectors worldwide, the Founder’s Edition turns the car into a very personal experience.
The process begins at the Rimac Campus in Zagreb, where the owners sit down with Mate, design director Frank Heyl and the design team. Using advanced V-RED software, colors, materials and finishes are adjusted in real time until everything feels right. It’s not about choosing from a standard palette, but rather the ability to configure a car to personal taste, with hand-stitched interiors, custom paint and details inspired by other cars in the collection. Every Founder’s Edition Nevera R tells a story.
The car itself makes a statement without having to scream. Its two-tone exterior follows the natural lines of the body and gives the car a low, aggressive stance. A thin center stripe, just two millimeters at its narrowest point, carries Rimac’s tie motif and subtle circuit board graphics, subtly combining technology and style. Inside, milestones from Rimac’s history are embroidered on the doors, and the asymmetrical seats reflect Mate’s own configuration.
Owners also receive insider access to the Rimac world: first looks at new products, invitations to record runs and even input on future research and development projects. Training is also included, with the Rimac team showing owners the car’s full potential. With 2,107 horsepower in four electric motors, the Nevera R accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 1.66 seconds and reaches a top speed of 268 mph. In 2025 alone, 24 confirmed world records were set, showing that Rimac is not just about looks, but also numbers that matter.
For Mate Rimac, the Founder’s Edition is about recognizing the people who believed in his ideas from the start. “Concept_One, Nevera and now Nevera R exist because the early believers took a leap into the unknown,” he says.
