The meeting celebrates ten years of Porsche excellence in Southeast Asia.
With over 75 years of history as a manufacturer of luxury performance automobiles, Porsche’s star has grown to undeniable fame and prestige worldwide, with passionate legions of fans collecting and admiring the brand’s entire automotive heritage. In Southeast Asia, “The Meeting” event was designed by Sihabutr “Tenn” Xoomsai. What started as a casual gathering of like-minded Porsche enthusiasts has since grown into an incredible showcase that is highly anticipated throughout the region.
The event recently reached an incredible milestone, taking place for the tenth time at Impact Speed Park in Bangkok, Thailand. Accordingly, the event was “The Meeting.” Exclusive merchandise items and a racing simulator rounded off the spectacle.
Over 3,800 Porsche enthusiasts and 734 cars were in attendance at Meeting The 956 claimed four consecutive overall victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans from 1982 to 1985, alongside the racing hypercar 963, which also achieved incredible success in that year’s endurance racing season.
The themed areas were dedicated to adventure, with a Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupe traveling from Bangkok to Stuttgart; Performance that prominently showcases the 911 and 718; Urban highlights the Taycan and Macan as pioneers of Porsche electrification; and Heritage with the exclusive 911 Spirit of 70.
