This year Daily Sparkz, the source for super sports cars since 1985, celebrates its 40th anniversary. During that time, some of the world’s most desirable, iconic and influential luxury and exotic cars have graced the cover of our magazine over the past 40 years, and together the cover cars of Daily Sparkz’s hundreds of monthly issues tell a story of automotive history and its evolution since the ’80s.
Looking back at Daily Sparkz’s 2022 cover cars, recent memory highlights some moments in automotive history that will undoubtedly soon be remembered as iconic and impressive. January – Koenigsegg government
The revolutionary Koenigsegg Regera featured unorthodox and groundbreaking hybrid and direct drive performance approaches, and the ultra-exclusive hypercar was our January 2022 cover star.
February – Cunningham Corvette Anniversary Edition
Cunningham Automotive’s Anniversary Edition Corvette, a powerful, customized and exclusive version of the C8, was our February 2022 cover star.
March – Ferrari 296 GTB
Enter a new era of Daily Sparkz magazine. Our first magazine cover, radically redesigned and transformed, features the aesthetic consistent with Daily Sparkz since our March 2022 issue, which featured the Ferrari 296 GTB on the cover.
April – Porsche Carrera GT
This Porsche Carrera GT, which had one of the lowest mileages of the legendary Porsche super sports car in the world, was our cover star in April 2022.
May – Artura McLaren
McLaren’s Artura, which had just launched at the time, ushered in a new hybrid-powered era for the manufacturer’s entry-level supercars and was our May 2022 cover star.
June – Lotus Eletre
The Lotus Eletre, the second electric model from a revolutionized Lotus and the manufacturer’s first SUV, was featured on our June 2022 cover.
July – Chevrolet Corvette Z06
The beefed-up Corvette Z06 was highly anticipated for the latest generation of Corvette, and fans were excited to see what a Z06 would look like with an engine mounted amidships. This was featured on our July 2022 cover.
August – Mercedes-AMG ONE
The Mercedes-AMG ONE, the Formula 1-derived road-legal hypercar, was our August 2022 cover star.
September – Porsche 911 Sport Classic
Porsche’s 911 Sport Classic, a limited-edition collector’s masterpiece that pays homage to the 911s of the past and debuted just before the 911’s 60th anniversary, was our September 2022 cover star.
October – DeLorean Alpha5
The October 2022 DuPont REGISTRY cover featured the DeLorean Alpha5, a reimagining of the iconic DeLorean that embodied automotive pop culture.
November – Pagani Utopia
Long awaited by Pagani enthusiasts, Pagani’s Utopia is the third act of its hypercar trilogy, which begins with the Zonda, continues with the Huayra and culminates with the Utopia. Key guiding principles remain at the core: an exciting V12 engine, a breathtaking design that combines craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology, a blend of art and science reminiscent of the likes of Leonardo da Vinci and, as the icing on the cake for the Utopia, an optional manual transmission. It was rightly our cover star in November 2022.
December – Ferrari Purosangue
With Ferrari’s Purosangue, the manufacturer did what few expected: let an SUV carry the Prancing Horse, even though Ferrari calls the Purosangue its first-ever “four-door four-seater.” With power coach-style rear doors, fully reclining rear seats, beautiful styling and a V12 under the hood, SUV or not, the Purosangue is a Ferrari through and through, and a sensational one at that. The groundbreaking vehicle was our December 2022 cover star.
