2026 BRABUS 1400 R Signature Edition

While we focus primarily on the world of supercars, exotic cars and luxury cars here at Daily Sparkz, we do occasionally like to feature unusual two-wheeled machines, especially if they have an automotive connection. Recent examples include the 1 of 1 HF355, where a Ferrari V8 meets two wheels in a bespoke superbike, the AMB001 developed by Brough Superior, and the Volonaut Airbike, which achieves the impossible with no wings, no rotors and no wheels at all. The limited edition of the BRABUS 1400 R Signature Edition fits this narrative perfectly.

BRABUS has come a long way from tuning high-performance Mercedes sedans. Today, the brand is associated with everything from high-performance boats to luxury homes to limited edition motorcycles. Their partnership with KTM since 2023 is the backbone of their journey on two wheels. The partnership with KTM already resulted in the 1300 R, which set the benchmark for a motorcycle developed by BRABUS. The 1400 R Signature Edition leverages this platform and further pushes performance, design complexity and exclusivity.

The 1400 R features a 1,350cc LC8 V-twin with 190 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque. This means it can accelerate from zero to 60 in 3.2 seconds, with a dry weight of 441 pounds. Five dedicated riding modes: Road, Sport, Rain, Performance and Track allow experienced riders greater customization options.

The improved hardware should pay off when it comes to handling. The WP APEX Semi-Active adaptive suspension uses electronically controlled solenoid valves to instantly change damping. With the push of a button you can switch from a soft and compliant track to a firmer track. The adjustable WP rear shock absorber keeps the chassis stable when accelerating and the WP Pro steering damper ensures the front wheel remains steady at speed. Brembo HYPURE brakes with 12.6-inch wave rotors at the front and a 9.4-inch rotor at the rear provide premium braking consistency.

Visually, nothing about this bike tries to blend in. The WIDESTAR body is present and features exposed carbon components. The LED headlight is finished in a subtle Midnight Veil finish, a deep black with subtle blue undertones. The LED headlight, framed by a bespoke carbon mask, complements the rest of the package and gives the bike a distinctive dashboard. Embossed logos are clean and minimalist. The three-spoke Monoblock II EVO Platinum Edition forged wheels are functional and reduce rotating mass. The winglets behind the backrest actually contribute to stability at speed.

As for the driver setup, the seat is handcrafted from BRABUS Masterpiece leather and Dinamica microfiber and is designed and shaped to keep you in place during hard acceleration. A full-color TFT display manages all driving settings and even welcomes you with an individual BRABUS start animation. Quotas are already tight and as mentioned, only 100 examples will be made and prices are expected to be in the exclusive range at €49,900.00, which would be expected for a motorcycle at the top of the Hyper Naked range.
