Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is almost out of date. According to Activision, the servers were shut down on April 17, 2026 and the game will no longer be playable after that.
Until then, everything will run as usual with what is already in the app. With Warzone Mobile still installed on your device, you can jump in, use your unlocked gear, and spend any remaining COD Points. Don’t wait.
There is an important limit for whoever removed it. Warzone Mobile was removed from Google Play and the Apple App Store in May 2025, so you won’t be able to reinstall it later just to check your loadouts, purchases, or progress.
What else you can do now
If the game is running on your phone or tablet, previously purchased content will continue to work until shut down. You can also redeem remaining COD Points for anything still available in the store while the servers are up and running.
Spending real money is already off the table. According to Activision, the last day to purchase COD Points, Battle Pass or BlackCell, or other store items with real currency was May 19, 2025.
The tricky part is what to do with the remaining points. Following the shutdown, unused COD Points will no longer be available and Activision states that no refunds will be available for purchased content or unspent points. If you want something, grab it while you can.
Your account after closure
How you signed up is important. Guest accounts become inaccessible once the servers go offline. Therefore, players who have never linked an account should plan on stopping completely.
If you used an Activision account, it will still exist outside of the app. However, Activision says that after the shutdown you will no longer be able to access this account through Warzone Mobile, although it will still remain available through Activision websites and other games that use it.
The simplest alternatives
Activision introduces mobile players to Call of Duty: Mobile. It’s free to play, with battle royale and multiplayer as well as zombies, and it also includes an extraction mode called DMZ: Recon.
Want the classic Warzone track instead? Call of Duty: Warzone on PC and console is also free to play. In any case, consider April 17, 2026 as your finish line, spend all the COD points you care about, and choose your next install before deleting the app.
