One of only five 70th Anniversary models adorned with Ferrari’s Tailor Made division’s ‘The Ingrid’ livery and the only F12berlinetta of its kind, this outstanding limited edition Ferrari combines the company’s heritage with the modern performance of the brand’s flagship V12 front-engined model. With only one private owner again, this F12berlinetta is ideal for any collector who values the history of the brand and is looking for a limited edition, low mileage example.
Broad Arrow Auctions is proud to present this one-of-a-kind Ferrari at the inaugural Las Vegas Auction on October 31st, held in collaboration with Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, offering bidders a rare opportunity to purchase a truly unique piece of Ferrari history.
To mark 70 years of developing some of the most iconic bespoke color schemes and racing liveries in automotive history, Ferrari’s Tailor Made division offered 70 iconic liveries from the brand’s glorious past on limited-edition examples of its modern range. This special F12berlinetta is inspired by one of the most impressive and iconic coachbuilt Ferraris of all time: the former Ingrid Bergman 375 MM Coupe Speciale.
Commissioned in 1954 by actress Ingrid Bergman’s husband, director Roberto Rossellini, chassis number 0456 AM was painted by Pinin Farina in a striking shade of champagne gold – the iconic paint color that Ferrari would name Grigio Ingrid after its intended owner – complemented by tan leather upholstery. The striking one-off, introduced in Paris in 1954, combined inward-facing, rotating headlights and bulbous, faired fenders in a sweeping, streamlined profile that united the nose, greenhouse and reinforced rear sections in a continuous curve. Although Bergman never took delivery of the car due to her divorce from Rossellini, the car remains forever associated with the Swedish three-time Oscar winner and continues to be revered as one of Maranello’s most significant bodywork creations.
As a tribute to this special Ferrari, the Ingrid livery was available on a special edition example of each contemporary Ferrari model – the California T, 488 GTB, 488 Spider, F12berlinetta and GTC4Lusso – for a strictly limited run of just five vehicles worldwide. Therefore, the F12berlinetta featured here is the only example completed as a tribute to the former Ingrid Bergman 375 MM Coupe Speciale, wearing a Grigio Ingrid livery with a subtle matt black grille and Argento Nürburgring-finished wheels. Inside there is a Connolly Vaumol leather interior in nero and ocher colors, the seats have a ribbed pattern and there are vintage-style rubber floor mats reminiscent of Ferrari Gran Turismo of the 50s and 60s. There is a special dedication plaque on the center console lid that reads “1/1 Inspired by 375 MM Pinin Farina Berlinetta 1954”.
In addition to its coveted 70th anniversary award, the F12berlinetta also featured the Adaptive Frontlight System, a suspension lift, Apple CarPlay, a dual-view front parking camera, electrochromic interior and exterior mirrors, a passenger display, fully electric seats and much more. This example was originally delivered by Ferrari South Bay in Torrance, California in August 2017 and is in well-preserved condition with its original owner. At the time of cataloging it had less than 4,600 miles when new. These invoices show routine maintenance performed exclusively by Ferrari Beverly Hills in recent years, including annual maintenance in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 at 4,343 miles. In keeping with its low mileage and original owner status, the car features exclusive 70th Anniversary Edition delivery items, including the Tailor Made Box containing a pewter model of the car and a Tailor Made illustrated book.
