Hong Kong technology companies have a strong presence at CES 2026 with award-winning innovations

Hong Kong’s technology sector enjoyed a prominent presence at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. Local companies secured top industry awards and attracted strong interest from global buyers, investors and multinational brands.

Led by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), and with the support of the Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association, the city sent its largest-ever delegation of 61 technology companies to the annual Consumer Electronics Show.

Within the first two days of the four-day event, the Hong Kong Tech Pavilion attracted numerous international companies, venture investors and industry leaders interested in exploring cutting-edge technologies and potential commercial partnerships. Organizers said the strong response underscored Hong Kong’s growing influence as a global innovation and technology hub.

The pavilion showcased innovations in advanced materials and sustainable technology, artificial intelligence and data, digital transformation, electronics and robotics, and life and health sciences.

Three Hong Kong companies were recognized at the 2026 CES Innovation Awards. Widemount Dynamics Tech received the Best of Innovation award in the Product Supporting Human Safety for All category for its intelligent firefighter robot designed for use in hazardous emergency environments.

In the Digital Health category, Eieling was recognized for FattaLab, considered the world’s first intelligence-driven compact diagnostic device for fatty liver disease, while PointFit was recognized for its patented ultra-thin PF-Sweat Patch, a wearable device that tracks biomarkers through sweat.

Terry Wong, managing director of HKSTP, said the CES provides a powerful platform to showcase Hong Kong’s strengths in research and development, talent and capital.

“Showcasing Hong Kong innovation on a global stage like CES highlights the city’s unique convergence of cutting-edge research and development, global talent and investment,” he said. “As an enabler, HKSTP connects innovators with resources, markets and opportunities and helps them scale internationally.”

Vivian Chan, deputy director of business development, exhibitions and digital business at HKTDC, said the organization’s long-standing involvement with CES reflects its role in facilitating cross-border technology deals.

“HKTDC has participated in CES for more than 40 years and remains committed to fostering technology-focused international partnerships through our global network of over 50 offices,” she said. “This strengthens Hong Kong’s position as a regional and global innovation hub.”

Following CES 2026, the Hong Kong delegation is expected to build on this momentum by collaborating with international partners, attracting foreign investment and pursuing new market opportunities. Organizers said the focus now shifts to helping Hong Kong start-ups and scale-ups transform their global footprint into tangible commercial results.

The strong showing in Las Vegas further cements Hong Kong’s role as a link between Asian innovation ecosystems and global technology markets as its entrepreneurs look to accelerate international expansion.
