Vossen re-introduces Bugatti’s V16 tourbillon with an aggressive split-wheel setup

The Tourbillon is Bugatti’s latest hypercar, powered by an all-new 8.3-liter V16 engine that produces nearly 1,800 horsepower when combined with hybrid assistance, and all 250 units of this $4.0 million-plus exotic have already been snapped up.

As delivered, this exotic represents a significant departure from the Chiron it replaces and already offers plenty of visual drama, with its form determined not just by heritage but also by function – a philosophy that Bugatti documented in detail in its Mini-Doc series released throughout much of 2025.

Now, a new set of digital renders of Karan Divi with rims from Miami-based aftermarket wheel specialist Vossen offer a different perspective. This comes just days after we recently published footage of Bugatti CEO Mate Rimac testing the tourbillon in real-world conditions over the winter.

Bugatti offers the tourbillon in four primary standard versions: Signature, Classique, Sportive and Extraordinaire, each with unique wheel finishes and designs.

Vossen’s approach is bold, and instead of a single wheel design, the renders show a split setup. The tourbillon wears Vossens LC3 11T forged wheels at the front and LC3 01T at the rear – certainly an unusual choice for a hypercar of this caliber. Both sets feature the same brushed, glossy, clear finish, keeping the look consistent despite the different designs contrasted with a blue and white exterior.

From a practical perspective, such a setup would raise questions about aspects such as tire availability, ride quality and protection from road damage in one of the fastest cars in the world. But purely visually, the effect is quite transformative.

These renderings don’t suggest that Bugatti needs help standing out, but rather they show how even a tightly controlled hypercar design can be reinterpreted by the imagination of the aftermarket, something we talked about at length in our exclusive feature with Manrory last month.
