Porsche is collaborating with HEAD and Norrøna for a winter sports collection of performance gear and ski technology inspired by the legendary 911 Targa.
Porsche is no stranger to venturing beyond the road, and its recent collaborations prove how seamlessly its design DNA can transition into new worlds. For the coming winter season, Porsche has created a performance-focused collection with Norwegian outdoor brand Norrøna and ski manufacturer HEAD that brings style, technology and decades of tradition to the mountain slopes. Under the motto “Crafting New Adventures,” the collaborations represent the same forward-thinking philosophy that has made Porsche one of the most admired names in the world of sports cars.
The Porsche x Norrøna collection focuses on Norrøna’s legendary Lofoten big mountain freeride line, a series based on what Jørgen Jørgensen calls “charged minimalism”. The result is a freeride collection of GORE-Tex® insulated shell jackets and pants tailored for skiing and snowboarding, as well as a fleece jacket versatile enough for mountaineering or trekking.
At the same time, Porsche has teamed up with HEAD to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Porsche 911 Targa with a ski collection inspired by the car’s silhouette and iconic roll bar. The Porsche 7 Series skis are inspired by giant slalom racing and deliver razor-sharp performance on groomed slopes, while the Porsche 8 Series skis offer versatility in mixed conditions with their all-mountain design.
These collaborations show how Porsche continues to expand its identity without losing touch with its roots. Just as the 911 Targa revolutionized open-air driving in 1965, the new Porsche ski collection is also aimed at performance in the mountains. Available now, these limited editions are aimed at adventurers who value functionality and craftsmanship, whether on the road, on the slopes or beyond.
