One-piece McLaren 750S Spider brings Las Vegas to life

Ahead of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, McLaren Automotive has unveiled Project Viva, a one-of-a-kind McLaren 750S Spider designed and built by McLaren Special Operations (MSO). As McLaren’s bespoke division, MSO is synonymous with the pinnacle of personalization – transforming a customer’s inspiration into automotive art.

Inspired by the spectacle and energy of Las Vegas, Project Viva embodies the shared ambition and innovation that unites McLaren and the city itself. Every inch of this unique supercar reflects MSO’s masterful craftsmanship and creativity, combining design, narrative and artistry into a seamless luxury statement.

Reimagining the City of Lights through a monochrome lens, Project Viva takes an unexpected approach to a destination defined by neon colors and excess. Instead of recreating the splendor of Vegas through vibrancy, MSO interprets the city’s pulse, architecture and atmosphere through intricate, hand-painted lines. The Sketch in Motion livery captures the movement and spirit of Las Vegas – from the iconic skyline and illuminated signage to the rhythm of music and performance – all linked to McLaren’s own racing heritage.

MSO’s bespoke palette for Project Viva includes Muriwai White, a shade inspired by the Muriwai House motif, and Vegas Nights, a new MSO-exclusive color developed exclusively for this brief. The jet black finish features subtle cyan, magenta and green metallic flecks meant to mimic the shimmer of Las Vegas after dark. Every stroke and every shade carries an intention – every line tells part of a larger story and exemplifies MSO’s philosophy, which is about emotion and inspiration, not just aesthetics.

Adding further authenticity and motorsport experience, McLaren Formula 1 drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri contributed hand-applied details, including the team’s 10th World Constructors’ Championship star on the rear bumper, as well as signature lines and sketches. Their commitment to the bespoke project builds on McLaren’s legendary track record and commitment to performance.

“Project Viva captures what McLaren Special Operations is all about – going beyond convention to create something truly personal. This is where craft meets character and every inspiration can become a story told through design. Every commission we create is a fusion of vision and skill, resulting in a car that authentically expresses the inspiration behind it. Whether born from a brand’s storytelling or a customer’s own passion, MSO is here to transform ideas into something unique and “To transform something meaningful,” said Jonathan Simms, Director of McLaren Special Operations (MSO).

The McLaren 750S Project Viva will be on display at the McLaren Experience Center at the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel from November 13th to 20th to coincide with the Las Vegas Grand Prix. For collectors and enthusiasts, it represents not only the most personal expression of the McLaren 750S, but also a new benchmark for luxury automotive art – where vision, craftsmanship and performance come together under the bright lights of the world’s most dazzling city.
