Keanu Reeves is traveling to Austin – but not for a film premiere. The Hollywood icon will be on stage as the bassist of his alternative rock band Dogstar. The trio kicks off their North American All In Now Tour on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at ACL Live at the Moody Theater.
For music fans in Austin, it’s a rare opportunity to see one of Hollywood’s most recognizable stars doing what he’s been passionate about for decades: playing live music.
Who is Dogstar?
While many people know Keanu Reeves from blockbuster films like… The Matrix And John WickHe is also a long-time musician. Reeves is joined by Bret Domrose on guitar and vocals and Robert Mailhouse on drums.
The band originally formed in the 1990s before taking an extended break. After reuniting in 2023, Dogstar was released Somewhere between power lines and palm trees and returned to touring. Now they’re back with a brand new album, Everything inside nowand an international tour.

Tickets for the Austin performance are available currently available here. Since this is both the opening night of the North American tour and one of the few dates in Texas, demand is expected to be high. Prices range from $54 to $74.
