The Hyundai i20 N Production is scheduled to end in March 2026, but the hot hatch is expected to remain on sale in Australia until 2027, when new N models are due to launch.
A dealer bulletin issued by Hyundai’s local office, viewed by Car Expert, has announced the end date for the turbocharged i20 N – although final production for Australia has already been set.
While the bulletin states that sufficient stock has been secured for 2026, customers will no longer have the option of ordering their own preferred specification of the i20 N from the factory, but will have to select from available stock across the dealer network.
The current i20 N is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 150kW and 275Nm, driving the front wheels exclusively through a six-speed manual gearbox.

The confidential dealer bulletin also revealed that Hyundai will offer a “new generation of accessible N products” from 2027.
“Hyundai N must be accessible,” Hyundai N boss Joon Park told Britain car Magazine in July 2025.
“We actually want to play with our circle of friends, with a car at a reasonable price and cars at an affordable price – we’re not talking about an exotic luxury car,” he said at the time.
According to the Car, A new i20 N is currently in development, with a hybrid drive that will be used in the next-generation hot hatch.
In August 2025,Daily Sparkz released spy photos from the next i20 test in Spain, covered in heavy camouflage.
