A limited edition Motorsport collector’s edition of the terrible Mercedes-AMG GT63 Pro 4Matic+ has been confirmed for Australia, costing a whopping $149,900 more than the standard version’s $418,900 before on-road costs.
Drops here this month for the price of $568,800 before on-road coststhe significant price premium over the GT63 Pro wasn’t enough to stop the Motorsport Collectors Edition from selling out in Australia, although the figure that landed here has not yet been announced.
In conversation with Daily Sparkz At a media event, Mercedes-Benz Australia product manager Ross Crabtree said: “The Motorsport Editions are essentially convinced” but declined to offer further insight.
The automaker announced a limited edition of 200 Motorsport Collectors Edition GT63s worldwide at the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix in 2024.

The special treatment includes a unique livery inspired by the colors of the brand’s Formula One (F1) team, which will compete in the 2026 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park this weekend.
Starting with a GT63 Pro Coupe in Obsidian Black, the Motorsport Collectors Edition adds contrasting details in the same shade of green as the Mercedes-AMG F1 Team’s title sponsor, Petronas.
Petronas green paint was applied to the 21-inch wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R semi-slick tires, as well as the glasshouse surrounds and front and rear bumpers.
There’s also a hand-painted silver three-pointed star pattern that extends from the coupe’s doors across the rear areas to the tailgate, where it meets the black rear wing.
The coat of arms of AMG’s hometown – Affalterbach, Germany – is hand-painted on both doors to complete the exterior changes.
In the interior, the illuminated door sills as well as the seams on the doors, the console, the leather/microfiber steering wheel and the nappa leather seats with AMG-embossed headrests in Petronas green are used.
The console includes a commemorative plaque for the 200 Motorsport Collectors Edition models offered worldwide.
Australia’s allocations could effectively range from one to 200, with Mercedes-Benz Australia unwilling to share how many it has secured.
The automaker last year confirmed the arrival of the Porsche 911 GT3 rival GT63 Pro 4Matic+ in March 2026, when it also announced the GT 43 four-cylinder rear-wheel drive version as part of an expanded GT coupe range.
The Motorsport Collectors Edition features no mechanical changes over the GT63 Pro – a full-time model in the local range – and features a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine producing 450kW/850Nm, mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
