Volkswagen Australia has reduced suggested retail prices by up to $12,000 ID. Buzz electric people mover and ID. Buzz Cargo electric commercial vehicle and at the same time extends the drive-away offers for both electric vehicles until April 30, 2026.
It is the second round of discounts within the past four months for the ID. Buzz after it slashed prices across the entire range by up to $8,000 in October last year.
The drive-away offers remain the same: The ID. The Buzz Pro short-wheelbase people carrier is still on sale drive-away for $79,990; its long-wheelbase counterpart costs $84,990; and the ID card. Buzz Cargo for $72,990 by car.
However, Volkswagen has reduced the recommended retail prices for electric cars and vans.

The ID card. The Buzz Pro SWB’s list price before on-road costs has been reduced by $12,000 to $75,990; the ID card. Buzz Pro LWB up $10,300 to $80,990 before on-roads; and the ID card. Buzz GTX LWB by $5,000 to $104,990 before it hits the road.
The ID card. Buzz Cargo is also $10,000 cheaper at $69,990 before on-roads.
The entry ID. The Buzz has a 210kW/560Nm electric motor driving the rear wheels and a claimed WLTP range of 422km, while the flagship GTX has a 250kW/590Nm all-wheel drive powertrain, a range of 450km and 0-100km/h acceleration in 6.4 seconds.
The base model comes standard with 19-inch alloy wheels, Matrix LED headlights with adaptive high beams, adaptive cruise control and “Easy Open” electric sliding doors.
The cabin features a 12.9-inch infotainment touchscreen with a 360-degree camera, wireless phone charging and seven USB ports.
Options include the iconic two-tone combination paint, which Volkswagen Australia says can be found on around half of the stock and costs an additional $4,090, while metallic and pearl colors cost $1,890.
Volkswagen Australia previously announced this Daily Sparkz The price cuts were not implemented due to slow sales.
