The MG 3 Vibe and ZS Vibe 1.5L have already been offered at special prices until March 31, 2026 as part of MG’s Mega Sellebration sale.
MG is currently offering a variety of offers including license plate clearance and summer sales.
The company launched the ZS Vibe 1.5L this year as a new entry into the remixed ZS range. Although the Vibe 1.5L undercuts the previous-generation ZS by $1,000 (and now by another $1,000 with this new offering), it features a full suite of active safety and driver assistance technology that its predecessor lacked.
The MG 3 Vibe was launched in mid-2025 as a new entry-level model for the Chinese brand’s light car line. While it doesn’t have the same comprehensive suite of active safety tech as the more expensive MG 3, it’s significantly better equipped in this regard than its predecessor, which sold out last year for $19,990 auto-free.
Like the ZS Vibe 1.5L, it has a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine producing 81kW of power and 142Nm of torque, paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).
MG said when it launched the new ZS generation at the end of 2024 that it expected both it and the MG 3 to remain the best-selling vehicles in their respective segments.
The MG 3 held its own and last year sold 8,350 units, almost a two-to-one ratio over the second best-selling vehicle in the light car segment. However, sales were 33.5 percent below the 2024 value.
The ZS lost the title of Australia’s best-selling small SUV last year when the Chery Tiggo 4 narrowly overtook it with 20,149 units and the Hyundai Kona came out on top with 22,769 units. Sales fell by 11.6 percent year-on-year.
