The Ford Ranger is being offered ahead of the launch of the updated MY26.5 model range with discounts of up to $3,000 on select variants, including both diesel and plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV).
Ford Australia has not listed specific pricing for each Ranger on its website, but is instead offering a $3,000 discount on eligible variants of its best-selling model.
This excludes the recently launched Ranger Super Duty, the Ranger Raptor Performance Ute as well as the entry-level XL and all 4×2 variants of the regular Ranger range.
The discounts apply to model year 2026 (MY26) and earlier and only apply to the more popular Ranger 4×4 range.
First up is the 2.0-litre dual-cab twin-turbo diesel Ranger XLS with 10-speed automatic, which is $3,000 cheaper than the standard price of $57,880 before on-road costs.

The Ranger PHEV Sport, Wildtrak and Stormtrak all receive a $3,000 discount, with the range-topping Stormtrak priced at $83,990 (excluding on-road costs).
The plug-in hybrid Ranger, launched last year, uses a 2.3-litre four-cylinder petrol engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and an electric motor for a total system output of 207kW of power and 697Nm of torque, while an 11.8kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt lithium-ion battery (NMC) delivers an electric range of up to 49km in the NEDC test cycle delivers.
Ford did not provide an end date for the $3,000 rebates.
The Black Edition Bi-Turbo dual cab 4×4 ute is still listed with a starting price of $57,000 drive-alone or $55,000 drive-away for Australian Business Number (ABN) holders.
Ford announced $250 price increases for all diesel variants in mid-2025, with minor price adjustments announced last November for MY26.5, including the Black Edition and Wolftrak Special Edition.
The automaker will also drop the bi-turbo diesel engine from the Ranger range after it was dropped from the Ranger range in 2025 in the UK due to emissions regulations.
The entry-level Ranger XL will instead use a 2.0-liter single-turbo diesel with 10-speed automatic, while the V6 diesel engine will be made more widely available.
Ford has also removed the bi-turbo engine from its Everest SUV, which shares most of its underpinnings with the Ranger and outperformed its arch-rival Toyota LandCruiser Prado for the second year in a row in 2025.
In 2025, the Ranger beat the Toyota HiLux for the third year in a row to remain the most popular vehicle in Australia.
