Volvo Car Australia remembers the Volvo EX30 small electric SUV due to a battery defect that could lead to a fire.
“Due to a manufacturing problem, the cell modules installed in the high-voltage battery may overheat at high charge levels. In this case, a vehicle fire could occur,” the company’s recall notice states.
“Keep the battery charge level below 70 percent, which can be adjusted in the charge settings menu on the vehicle display.”
“A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and bystanders and/or property damage.”
